The campaign is a coordinated push by AFSA and its member groups to encourage colleges and universities to recommit to free speech principles. It equips alumni with ready-to-use tools (letters, petitions, op-eds, scorecards, etc.) to press their alma maters to adopt and act on a set of free speech recommendations.

The campaign launches August 26, 2025, with the first wave of actions focused on the fall semester when students return to campus. We encourage groups to take at least one action within the first 60 days of launch for maximum visibility and momentum.
